Ive never really been a fan of annie lennox, that more to do with lack of knowledge than listening to it and not liking it though. Im a fan of kate bush, tori amos, pj harvey and some of the new mob like laura marling though, so yeah maybe its time for a bit of AL.
hmmm songs that really mean something....i could ponder on this for hours but im gonna go with:-
Michael Jackson - Black or white.
such an important message in this song - i love the opening line, even though it makes absolutely no sense to me at all:-
"I took my baby on a saturday bang". -
Truly inspirational, although not to be taken literally, perhaps thats why he got in trouble - typical try and convey such an important message, and the media home in on the first line of the song.
anyway, sarcasm friday has now ended, so ill say have a good weekend to all

Just as well you can't libel the dead.
He was a rotten pervert that had sex with his monkey.
Seriously though, in his time he was a great entertainer with some very good songs and dance moves, he just turned weird. |
