There's been many stories around here about the appalling delivery service that DX offer, not just on behalf of James and Sandbag, but for other companies that use their services.

I would like to compile a dossier of these stories to provide to James management to show how this company and its inability to deliver items on timely basis through their use of contracted couriers is giving both Sandbag and James a bad name. The hope is that this will convince James management to request that Sandbag no longer use DX to deliver tickets but to use Royal Mail Special Delivery.

Please email me your stories to oneofthethree@hotmail.com.

thanks

dave

I actually liked DX. All my tickets were sent to my home address while I was at work so I had to arrange redlivery. The process on their website was very simple, and it remembered my redelivery address too so I didn't need to write the same thing out 10 times, and it didn't cost me any more to have the tickets sent to work.

With Royal Mail your options are more limited. You can have them delivered to another address, but only in your post code district, or to the same address, or to your local post office for an extra £1.50, which I have had to for several (non James tickets).

I know DX messed up a few deliveries, but on the whole I liked them.

It's the fucking useless, responsibilty avoiding, unethical, tighter than an arse in a bucket full of maggots, argue that you're they're right and blame everyone else and his dog till you get REALLY angry PRICKS at Sandbag I have an issue with!!

I've not had a problem with James tickets, and not a problem per se, but I hate, hate, hate the fact that you can't phone through to a real person at DX. This probably isn't their fault, but when tickets are issued late, if a delivery is missed you need to give them about 48 hours to redeliver - even when I've had notice by email in advance of delivery and tried to change the date/address to my work, it's made no difference.

As long as the tickets are sent out at least a week before you need them, there's time to rearrange things, but they're way too inflexible to deal with exigencies.

Personally, I much prefer gig tickets to be sent royal mail spcial delivery, because they'll just stick them through my door if I'm not in.

Anyone received their Manchester MEN Arena tickets? I ordered mine on the fan-club day. I booked seating tickets. No idea where in venue. Hopefully stage side and decent view.

Please advise as and when you receive your tickets. It's been a few months since i bought my tickets. Although venues do tend to send out tickets four weeks before the show.

Let me know how you all get on!
