I would possibly suggest Nothing But Love although it may be too fast. If you don't mind using a Tim Booth song (one from when he went solo), I would suggest Please Fall In Love With Me. Beautiful slow song.

What a great idea.

I had to dance to that theme from Robin Hood for my one and only time I have danced with Mrs H. Saying that it was 21 years ago

Thanks for your suggestions, the future wife loves Fred so that is the current favourite Hebs. I haven't seen that video wot4 , so cheers for that it's brilliant! I love it when they do 'stripped back' versions and that one is up there with the best of them.

Ah, congratulations! I love She's a Star, but I'd definitely go for Fred Astaire - the lyrics are lovely, it's a very pure love song.

sure there will be a version on youtube you can rip somewhere.

Otherwise loads of choices e.g. pleased to meet you, senorita, upside or this version of Oh My Heart https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EX6WSSc4hZ0

Maybe even the wonderful Five-O?

Good luck

Does anyone have any idea where i can get a recording of an acoustic/stripped back version of She's a star? I'm getting married next year and would love one of their songs as our wedding dance. I have been a fan for 28 years and they have written the soundtrack to my life! I saw them do an acoustic version in Birmingham on the spring 2007 tour and have seen that they have played this version on the girl tour. Another option is Fred Astaire, but maybe a little too fast?! Any other suggestions?
Cheers
