Great post Denise. Could not agree more with everything you said. Top night. My 9 year old daughter has been brought up on James too. Great parenting!

We went to the James gig in manchester, my husband my son and myself. I personally have seen james more times than I care to remember, including the infamous gmex gig where, yes we all sat down. So many years ago! We have every album, my favourite was gold mother, until girl at the end of the world came into my life. How a band can produce such brilliant fresh material after all this time is inspirational. To be able to play nine songs off a new album at a gig and have every single person in the room sing along and dance is testament to the relationship we as fans have with James. My eleven year old son is as big a fans as we are now and sang and danced his heart out to the point people were shaking his hand and enjoying his enjoyment.
