This morning, I was still working on persuading my husband that it would be a good idea to travel from Ireland midweek via a confusing network of expensive buses, ferries and trains, during one of his busiest periods of the year to go see James in Lllandudno.

I just checked the venue website and there were only 6 tickets left so I booked it. Ha!
I just have to hear GATEOTW played lived, or I will be too sad.

There's a beach, right? and beer? and nice hotels? Need to work on my powers of persuasion before this evening.

Anyhow, guest45, what's the craic with the VIP ticket? How much are you asking for it? I obviously need a little treat after planning the most complicated gig attendance of my life.

Hi Hebs, i booked a ticket for a friend who has recently had some surgery and isn't sure if he'll be back on his feet by the 12th. I think cost was about 70 quid, but am happy to pass on to a true James fan for nowt

Thank you so much, I'd absolutely love that.
I already have a regular ticket so maybe you'd prefer to wait and see if your friend is well enough to go to the gig?
Are you going to the gig yourself?

Would be great to meet up with some fellow fans along the way, going to 6 so far, maybe more. I tried to register on the forum but havent received the confirmation email, hence guest45. And fair play to yourselves for making the trip over from Ireland!

Six! Impressive.

I've never been to the Llandudno venue before. Have you? The capacity is smaller than some of the arenas so I'm hoping it will be a bit more intimate than the likes of GMEX in Manchester (or whatever it's called these days).

There was no way I was missing this tour. The day I booked the tickets/ferries etc I got home that evening an my husband said that he'd juggled things around so that he'd be able to make the trip (must have been my sad face). So, that was kind of handy as I'd already booked it!!

Nice, isn't it great when it all works out! Never been to Llandudno except as a kid on holiday, this is a much better reason though.
