flights = £300ish to palm springs (http://www.travelsupermarket.com)

Very doable ~ and I so need a holiday.
Either I'll have been sacked by then for being a crap teacher, or they'll have come to their senses and realised what a fantastic asset I am to their teaching team and it'll be the school holidays anyway :oD

You going?

i'm seriously considering, yes. its just a pain in the arse cos i dont drive, its tough relying on public transport there... and i RRRRREALLY dont want to stay in a tent.

apparently theres shuttles and stuff to close motels.... when all the info is on the site, gonna cost it up.... but hopefully regardless of if james are there or not - festival in the desert, its like stuff of dreams!

if james are playing, then more probably definitely!

p.s. teachers are more impressive if they can spell 'teaching'

:D

be careful what you say about the desert being the stuff of dreams... temps hover around 100-105F (37-41C)!!!! haha though at least it is not humid.

Realised after I'd posted it, d'oh, anyway it's not so much my spelling as my typing that lets me down :p

I can drive, but I don't know if I'd be in a fit state to drive back to a hotel after festivaling, unless the laws are more relaxed in LA?
