We know there are a few Inspiral Carpets fans on here and this is right up your boulevard.

Graham and the band have kindly signed and donated the rare and deleted 7'' single of 'Your So Good For Me'. All proceeds will go to the Meningitis Trust. To grab a piece of Inspiral Carpets history and give to a wonderful charity, place your bids here Please share away!

He got sacked by the other members of the band at a hotel, the village, in Ashton Under Lyne

Then why don't the "lads" use some of the extra cash they saved and shared out after sacking Tom and use it to make a big charitable donation themselves?

Come on "lads" do YOUR bit for charity instead of trying to exploit fans. James would never ever treat Tim Booth the way you "lads" treated Tom.

I always thought that Tom left to persue other interests, but announced on his twitter feed that the IC had split up - clint boon responded saying they hadn't. I've seen them a few times since stephen holt rejoined and thought they were great, and i'll be seeing them on next years 'back to life tour'

Maybe maybe not, but if you had seen Tom Hingley live at one of his book signings you may realize that Tom is not sour but put his side of the story, never seen Clint or Graham put theirs

He wishes the Inspirals no hard feelings but the Inspirals have lost something with Tom not being there

The band kindly donated this single, it isn't the band selling it, thanks.

Sorry that's bollocks, what about the comments about Steve's singing in some of his interviews. Bitter.

I'd say a little bitter, but with good right. A sound bloke, who didn't deserve the treatment he got by the rest of the band. Check out his 'Thames Valley Delta Blues' album though, absolutely superb!

How do you know what the true story is without having heard both sides?
